Training held for 7 Pakistani journalists selected for exchange visit to Afghanistan
Pak Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS) organised a half-day training session for seven Pakistani journalists selected for a visit to Afghanistan under the Pak-Afghan Media Collaboration programme.
The seven journalists were: Aqeel Yousafzai (daily Wahdat, monthly Likwal and Dutch Press Agency), Aoun Abbas Sahi (The News on Sunday), Nasima Achakzai (AVT Khyber and PMC News), Peer Muhammad (The Express Tribune), Riaz Gul (Mashaal radio), Shahab Ud Din (Aaj News) and Shams-ul Qamar (Center for Research and Security Studies).
The journalists had been selected from a large pool of applicants by an Advisory Board comprising senior Afghan and Pakistani journalists when the board met in Kabul in March.

14 Pakistani, Afghan journalists chosen for exchange visits
Senior Pakistani and Afghan journalists selected 14 journalists from the two countries here on Friday for cross-border visits aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation between media organizations of the two countries.
While meeting in Kabul, the joint Pak-Afghan Advisory Board selected the 14 journalists from among a large number of applicants from the print and electronic media organisations of the two countries under the Pak-Afghan Media Collaboration programme.

Pak Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS) organised a training session for Pakistani and Afghan journalists chosen under the Pak-Afghan Media Collaboration for a journalist exchange programme.
Five Afghan and five Pakistani journalists had been selected to spend up to a week in the other country to conduct research in collaboration with media partners. The trainees included the five Afghan journalists who were visiting Pakistan under the exchange programme and the Pakistani journalists who were to proceed to Afghanistan the following week under the programme.
